Personalized, Compassionate Family Care

Tammy Ralston MSN, FNP-C

In 2006, I graduated from Columbus Technical College with my RN associate's degree. I began working as a nurse on the Telemetry Step Down Unit. Within 6 months of starting work, I was made one of the charge nurses. Once I gained a year of experience, I moved to the Cardiac Cath Lab. During that time, I met and married my husband, Aaron, who was on active duty in the Army. Our first move took us to Fort Hood, Texas, where I began working in the ER at a trauma one center in Belton. I went back to school during this time and received my Bachelor of Nursing through the University of Phoenix. I was there for 3 years, and we had 2 of our children during that time, Samuel and Zoe, before being moved to our next duty station. We moved to Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where I started working in the home care setting as a hospice RN and case manager. I moved from hospice to a plastic surgery clinic, where I became the clinic manager. We had our 3 child, Molly-Anne, during this time. It was at this time that I was encouraged by my husband to go back to school once more to become a nurse practitioner. We both applied to Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and were accepted. I graduated with my Family Nurse Practitioner in 2017 and began working in the post-acute care setting, providing care in nursing and rehab centers. After spending 5 years in the post-acute setting, I changed to seeing people in their homes and doing transitional care management and primary care for patients no longer able to leave their homes. My dream is to bring convenient and hassle-free care to my community for those who are blessed to be able to have insurance, as well as those who do not. I will always strive to give the highest quality of care while attempting to give my patients the best deals I can find for labs, medications, and any other needed services or equipment.
